Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and / or slick surfaces Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
A busy contemporary Mexican restaurant in Pasadena is seeking a host.
This position is part time 3-5, 6-hour shifts a week. Monday and Tuesday afternoon / evening availability required
Host's Responsibilities :
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests and thank guests as they leave.
- Escorting guests to their assigned table at a comfortable pace while making friendly conversation.
- Answering phone calls, relaying messages, booking and confirming reservations.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with the management team and the chef; alert them of possible waits, guest issues, high-profile guests.. etc.
