As a Principal Incoming Material Quality Engineer, you will be responsible to ensure all materials used for product manufacturing comply to quality requirements, and build strong relationships with supplier's to improve their quality capabilities. An understanding of fab processes and the related materials and chemicals is essential to ensure effective coordination between internal user requirements match supplier deliveries. Using a process approach you will ensure the effective implementation of the incoming material process to gate material quality, assure effective internal material management, and determine root causes to abnormality with effective actions to prevent recurrence. The ability to continually improve quality and data systems is essential to drive towards the zero-defect expectation of our automotive and medical coustomers. Continued integration with the TSMC parent company necessitates creative solutions to ensure we meet the corporate best practices while accommodating local risks and resources.
While this position is scheduled to work core business hours, Monday-Friday, there may be times when additional hours are necessary.

This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm; however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $88,672.00 and $121,923.00 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $88,672.00 - $133,008.00 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC's total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
