[job_card.job_description]Type : Full time Shift : 7 : 45am-5pm (occasional late night on Tuesday's until 6pm) Pay : $21.43-$26.45 (depending on years of experience) MA experience, problem solving experience, clinical experience, administer injectoins, performing EKG's, ability to take manual blood pressure, and injection training Nice to have skills : EPIC experience Soft skill / Attribute Requirements : Supportive, Attentive, Team player, Hard worker, and Good communication Education : High school diploma or GED Prepare examination rooms, escort patients, measuring vital signs, assisting providers, Point of Care testing, adminstering injections, managing patient flow, handling referrals, etc. Take inventory and order supplies Assist with coordinating staff meetings Supervise work performed by department and delagate work to staff members Counsel and coache the team by guiding, directing, motivating, and mediating conflict Assists with staff development, new employee orientation, and training. As a job position within our Allied division, a successful completion of a background check may be required as a condition of employment. This requirement is directly related to essential job functions including but not limited to : providing direct patient care, accessing medical and confidential records, accessing and administering prescription medication or other drugs, working within a clinical setting, handling sharp instruments, conducting medical procedures, and working within departments that care for vulnerable populations, such as, minors, elderly and those with physical or mental disabilities. Due to these job duties, this position has a significant impact on the business operations and reputation, as well as the safety and well-being of individuals who may be cared for as part of the job position or who may interact with staff or clients.
About the role :
- Seeking a team-oriented and attentive Medical Assistant. THis position requires experience in greeting patients and assisting with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history. The role involved preparing examination rooms, assisting providers during exams and procedures, and conducting onsite lab testing. It also includes supervisory duteies such as coordinating staff meetings, counseling and coaching the team, assisting with the staff development, and managing the team schedule / payroll
