American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California, requiring CA licensure and advanced certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with acute care, Magnet facility designation
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00)
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Floating between like units and all facilities within California may be required
• Epic EMR is used and Epic experience is required
• No weekend or on-call requirement
• Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager’s discretion
• All travelers must be willing to float as assigned within the state
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Time off requests must be submitted with application and are subject to approval
• Orientation and training will be provided upon arrival
• Any color scrubs are permitted; hospital provides L&D and OR scrubs
• Free parking is available on site

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, LA Fire Card
• Epic charting experience required
• Must provide two supervisory references covering one year of employment within the past three years in a comparable specialty
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No pending licensure accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
