Global Science & Technology (GST) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team supporting State IT Support Projects in Fairmont, WV.

Primary Duties :

The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible designing, implementing, installing, operating, and maintaining local area networks while also providing IT administration.

• Ability to quickly troubleshoot
• Ability to learn and maintain customer software solutions
• Server / Client Networks
• Internet Protocols
• Active Directory
• Implementation of Best Practices
• Network Monitoring
• Fiber Channel Networks
• SAN / NAS / CAS / DAS
• Web Servers, DNS, SQL
• Clustering, Load Balancing

Required Education / Experience / Skills :

10+ yrs training and / or field experience

10+ yrs Communications & Electronics background & working with LAN / WAN infrastructures

Sonicwall Certifications

Salary at GST is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $102,000 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the GST total compensation package for employees.
