Public Relations Assistant

Job Description :

Tribeca Outsourcing is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Public Relations Assistant to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will support the PR department in managing communication strategies and maintaining positive relationships with the public, media, and stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in crafting compelling narratives, coordinating PR campaigns, and monitoring media coverage to enhance our company's reputation and brand awareness.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in developing and implementing PR campaigns that align with company objectives.
  • Draft press releases, media pitches, and other promotional materials.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR performance.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, interviews, and press conferences.
  • Maintain media contact lists and nurture relationships with journalists and influencers.
  • Track industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience (internship or full-time) in a PR agency, corporate communications, or related role preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PR software (e.g., Cision) is a plus.
