Starting Salary Range: $98,000 - $125,000 annually, with 5% Bilingual Pay.

Our programs support community wellness through clinical care, outreach and advocacy.
Position Summary
The Clinical Psychologist provides psychological assessments, Community Defined and other appropriate Evidence-based psychotherapy, crisis intervention and consultation in a community mental health setting. This role emphasizes cultural sensitivity and humility, trauma-informed practices and collaborative care, On occasion the Clinical Psychologist may be required to provide clinical supervision for a staff Clinical Psychologist Associate seeking licensure.
Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic interviews, psychological assessments and risk evaluations.
- Provide individual, family or group psychotherapy tailored to diverse client populations.
- Develop and update treatment plans in line with California Medi-Cal and other appropriate Care Management Programs’ documentation standards.
- Provide crisis intervention, safety planning and de-escalation support,
Collaboration and Teamwork
- Participate in weekly case conferences and possibly multidisciplinary team meetings,
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers and case managers.
- Provide clinical consultation to staff as needed,
Documentation and Compliance
- Complete progress notes, treatment plans and assessments within required time frames.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)/Psychology Board of California, ethics and MEDI-CAL regulations.
Program Support
- Contribute to program development, quality improvement and community education initiatives,
- Assist with training interns on staff or contracted.
Qualifications
Required
- PHD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
- Active California Psychologist License.
- Experience delivering Community Defined as well as other evidence-based treatment in community or outpatient settings.
- Demonstrated commitment to trauma-informed care and cultural responsiveness.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with Medi-Cal populations and California community mental health systems.
- Specialized training such as trauma, child/ adolescent and family therap.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
