Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including dispatch, scheduling, and route planning
• Manage the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all company vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance
• Monitor vehicle performance, fuel efficiency, and operational costs to optimize fleet productivity
• Supervise and coordinate a team of mechanics, drivers, and support staff
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial vehicles and safety standards
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for fleet management and shop operations
• Manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies necessary for vehicle maintenance
• Coordinate with other departments to meet operational needs and improve service delivery
• Prepare reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs, and operational issues for senior management
