New York Licensed Patent Attorney

A company is looking for an In-House Patent Prosecutor / Senior Patent Attorney or Patent Agent (Part-Time).

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and execute U.S. and international patent prosecution across multiple patent families

Draft and review patent applications, amendments, responses, and reissue applications

Manage and oversee outside prosecution counsel, ensuring quality and strategic alignment

Required Qualifications :

Patent Attorney (USPTO-registered) or highly experienced Patent Agent

Technical background in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Significant experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications

Strong command of claim drafting and prosecution strategy

Experience managing outside counsel and reviewing prosecution work at a senior level
