  • Job Summary :

    • We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of kitchen operations and a strong commitment to quality and excellence. The Lead Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen assistants, and assist with training new team members.
  • Manage inventory and food supplies, ensuring freshness and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new recipes and menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations, in compliance with health codes.
  • Monitor kitchen performance and make adjustments as needed to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Handle any kitchen-related issues, including staff conflicts, food quality concerns, and safety issues.
  • Maintain records of food costs, waste, and inventory levels for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
  • Qualifications :
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a cook or chef in a professional kitchen, with at least [X years] in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety regulations, and culinary techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team.
