About the Role :

As an MRI Technologist at Bloomington Medical Services (BMS01), you will play a critical role in the diagnostic imaging process by operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis and treatment planning. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging results while maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. This position requires a thorough understanding of MRI technology, anatomy, and pathology to optimize imaging protocols and troubleshoot technical issues. You will also be responsible for preparing patients for scans, explaining procedures, and monitoring patients during imaging to address any concerns or adverse reactions. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to timely and accurate diagnoses that support effective patient care within the healthcare team.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
• Current certification as an MRI Technologist (e.g., ARRT MRI certification).
• Valid state licensure to practice as an MRI Technologist, if applicable.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient care standards.
• Demonstrated ability to operate MRI equipment and perform imaging procedures accurately.

Preferred skills such as familiarity with advanced imaging techniques and EMR systems enhance the technologist’s ability to support specialized diagnostic needs and streamline workflow within the healthcare environment.
