Electrical Design Engineer - Revit Exp Required Electrical Design Engineer
Position Overview
The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various building projects. This role involves collaborating with architects and other engineers to create efficient, safe, and sustainable electrical designs that meet client needs and comply with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical designs for building systems including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
- Utilize CAD and Revit software to create detailed design drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC codes and industry standards in all designs
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet project timelines and budgets
- Conduct system analysis and troubleshooting to solve design and implementation issues
- Prepare technical documentation and reports related to electrical systems design and modifications
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in project management activities to track progress and manage resources
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldProven experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in the building systems sectorProficiency in CAD and Revit software for electrical designStrong understanding of power distribution and lighting design principlesFamiliarity with NEC codes and regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated problem-solving abilities in engineering designExperience with project management practices and toolsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentBenefits
