Experience an exciting summer internship at RWE Clean Energy where youll work with industry experts contribute to real-world projects forge valuable connections in a supportive intern cohort and grow personally and professionally in the sustainable energy sector. The Summer Accounting Intern plays a vital role in supporting the General Ledger Accounting team at RWE Clean Energy. The teams focus is to manage the general ledger tracks records income and expenses aids audits ensure accounting compliance and assist with budgeting and financial analysis to maintain accurate financial management at RWE Clean Energy. The intern will assist the team in collaborating on account reconciliations contributing to ad hoc projects and helping the team reach its goals. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting while supporting RWE Clean Energys financial operations.

Responsibilities :

• Collect SAP data and input it into Excel models for analysis
• Support the preparation of journal entries to document financial transactions
• Collaborate on account reconciliations as necessary to maintain accurate financial records
• Contribute to various ad hoc projects and tasks as required to support the teams objectives

Qualifications :

This is a full-time 12-week summer internship starting the first week of June in our Chicago IL office.

Pay range : The hourly base pay range for this position in Illinois is $25.00 $35.00 an hour for undergraduate candidates and $30.00 $40.00 an hour for graduate candidates. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates education & work experience training & certifications and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
