Senior Principal, Business Consulting - SAP (Semiconductor)

Infosys Consulting is seeking a strategic and innovation-focused Senior Principal Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S / 4HANA and a strong understanding of the semiconductor industry. This role focuses on enabling product lifecycle transformation by aligning SAP capabilities with business strategy across R&D, product development, portfolio management, and market launch.

Base pay range

$168,000.00 / yr - $234,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Business Development

Build and manage senior-level client relationships across semiconductor OEMs, fabless companies, foundries, and equipment manufacturers.

  • Identify and pursue new consulting opportunities, contributing to revenue growth and account expansion.
  • Lead proposal development, solution design, and deal shaping for strategic transformation programs.
  • Consulting Delivery & Thought Leadership

    • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver digital transformation and consulting engagements with deep functional expertise in at least two business functions within the Semiconductor industry.

  • Plan to fulfill (Supply chain); Procure to Pay; Product lifecycle management (PLM); Finance; Order to Cash; Lead to Order.
  • Develop and present thought leadership in semiconductor trends, market shifts, and emerging technologies.
  • Practice Development

    • Mentor and develop junior consultants and managers.

  • Contribute to the development of consulting assets, frameworks, and methodologies specific to the semiconductor domain.
  • Collaborate with global teams to build domain capabilities and reusable solutions.

    • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 9+ years of experience in strategy or business consulting, with at least 3 years in SAP S / 4HANA.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor product development and innovation cycles.
  • Proven experience in strategy development, process design, and SAP-enabled transformation.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and executive stakeholder engagement skills.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Experience with SAP PLM, Siemens Teamcenter, SAP Project System (PS), SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM), or SAP Innovation Management.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor industry trends, global R&D operations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with Agile or SAP Activate methodology.
