Christ - Surg Room

General Information

Beds : 28 (2 hybrid rooms for CV / Vascular)

60-75 cases / day

Experience :

IR Hybrid Tech : 3 years of hybrid experience

First Time Traveler : Yes, with acute care experience

Patient Types : Outpatient / Inpatient / Trauma

GSW, stabbings, transplant (kidney, hearts), donor cases, general, gyn, urology, robotic, vascular, ortho, neuro

Hybrid Room : sees between 5-10 cases / day depending on what cases are scheduled; adults only. TAVR, , Endarterectomies, angiograms, fistula revisions

20% Pediatric (appy, choley)

No liver or lung transplant

Participates in Gifts of Hope cases

Patient Ratios : 1 : 1

Required Certifications : BLS, ARRT

Skills required : Need to have experience in above hybrid patient types, cath lab experience is required.

Support on Unit :

Charge nurse : no patient assignment (M-F) able to assist on weekends and evenings

Bedside monitoring by anesthesiologist

Resource Nurse

Surgeons (have preference cards)

EPIC super-user

Charting System / Equipment : Siemens equipment experience required

Scrub Color : Provided

Parking : Free
