About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Field Service Technician to service, maintain, and repair residential solar, battery storage, and generator systems. You’ll diagnose electrical issues, ensure compliance with NEC / AHJ standards, perform preventative maintenance, and deliver a first-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar panels, inverters, batteries, generators, and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance — panel cleaning, wiring inspections, inverter and battery health checks.
• Commission systems and upgrades; ensure compliance with NEC, AHJ, and utility standards.
• Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, clamp meters, thermal imaging) to assess system performance.
• Maintain accurate service logs, inspection reports, and photo documentation.
• Follow strict safety standards including PPE use, lockout / tagout, and fall protection.
• Respond to emergency and warranty calls as needed.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction.
