Job Overview
ACLC is seeking a committed and seasoned SOF?P Medical Instructor / Curriculum Developer to join the dynamic Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center (JSOMTC) team. In this pivotal role, you will deliver top?tier instruction and support training development, teaching National Registry Emergency Medical Technician Basic (B) and Paramedic (P) courses, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and ensuring courses consistently meet the highest educational standards.
Scope of Training
The scope of training includes but is not limited to the following :
- Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / Automatic External Defibrillation (AED)
- Pre?Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
- Trauma surgical skills lab, operating room procedures, surgical procedures, regional anesthesia, pre?anesthesia, anesthesia, and post?anesthesia care.
- Obstetrical (OB) and gynecological (GYN) emergencies
- EMT?Basic certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Education for Prehospital Providers (PEPP)
- Advanced Tactical Practitioner (ATP) certification
- EMT?Paramedic certification
- Field treatment of CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive) casualties
- Dental
- Dive and high?altitude medicine, heat, cold weather, travel medicine, blast injuries, high and low?velocity wounds
- Clinical preceptorship including clinical training / experience and evaluation of patient assessment / management / care skills in various clinical settings, rotations through surgery, dermatology, pediatrics, orthopedics, radiology, preventive medicine / community health, and outpatient / family practice clinics.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Support the daily operations of JSOMTC.Bear the primary teaching responsibility for assigned classes using large?group classroom instruction, small?group instruction, and hands?on training, coordinating with subject?matter experts.Coordinate classes and prepare lesson plans in cooperation with the Course Director of the Special Warfare Center & School, including developing and implementing practical exercises and learning activities.Assemble and maintain all material pertaining to blocks of instruction, including lesson plans and visitor's folders.Assist with or complete administrative duties for all POIs as instructed by ACLC.Perform basic preventative maintenance on low and high?fidelity medical training manikins / equipment tasks / trainers and conduct PMCS (daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance) with appropriate documentation.Set up and break down all required training equipment for each POI instructed.Develop and present educational and command slide presentations.Perform database and statistics compilations and analysis as needed.Perform other duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Performance Work Statement as assigned by ACLC.This list of responsibilities is not all?inclusive and is subject to change at the discretion of the employer.

Must be an SOCM graduate, hold a grade no less than Sergeant, or be a Special Operation Combat Medic, or an instructor in a USSOCOM medical pipeline.At least three (3) years of Emergency Medicine Instruction experience.Job Context / Physical Demands
