Assistant or Associate Professor of General Neurology

The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for a General Neurologist. The rank of Assistant or Associate Professor will be commensurate with experience, with the option to pursue a tenure-eligible or tenure-ineligible track depending on career trajectory. To be considered for the tenure-eligible position, candidates must have a strong interest in a career in academic medicine and demonstrate scholarship and excellence in two domains consistent with the requirements for tenure in the School of Medicine. The incumbent will participate in caring for adults primarily or exclusively in the outpatient setting. An interest in headache medicine is preferred, but not required for this position.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an MD or DO, and be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology at the time of hire.
