Basic Purpose and Objective

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, uses the JD Edwards system to input receivers, loads and unloads trucks, retrieves and stores materials in the warehouse, counts and boxes parts, and makes necessary inventory transactions. Specific duties and responsibilities include :

• Uses computer for specific programs and websites
• Reports shortages and damaged materials
• Selects routing and carrier when not specified by customer
• Arranges for pick-up carrier utilizing websites, phone, and email
• Makes out bills of lading, following standard procedures
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Uses hand trucks and power trucks to move materials
• Counts and boxes production utilizing scales or similar packaging equipment
• Maintains cleanliness of department and immediate outside area
• Other duties as assigned

Education Required

High school diploma or equivalent work experience

Experience Required

Ability to read and write to follow quality and related instructions. Add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. Performs the four operations with like common decimals and fractions.
