Job Title : Medical Receptionist

Location : Nashville, TN Position Type : Full-Time Reports to : Clinic Manager Hours : Monday - Friday 8 : 30 am - 5 : 00pm. Compensation : $19.50 - $23.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Clinic Overview :

Our clinic offers a full range of preventive and treatment services, including chronic condition management, sexual health services, and wellness programs. We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients receive compassionate care and resources tailored to their needs.

Job Summary :

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations in a high-volume medical clinic setting. This role is the first point of contact for patients and visitors and is critical to ensuring a professional, organized, and welcoming environment. The receptionist supports patient intake , scheduling , insurance verification , and administrative coordination while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to clinic protocols. This position does not include clinical decision-making or case management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Reception & Communication

• Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
• Answer incoming calls promptly, using approved scripts and protocols.
• Direct inquiries to appropriate staff members.
• Provide accurate and concise information about clinic services, hours, and appointment procedures.
