The Quality Assurance Technician, reporting to the Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager, will inspect produced and procured foods to ensure adherence to company standards, regulatory body requirements, and / or both. Responsibilities include conducting tests, documenting defects, analyzing products, and monitoring procedures. This position requires the ability to stand for 8-10 hours daily in a cold environment (39°ree;F).

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS :

• Monitor the food production process and product by sensory, weight control, and analytical methods to maintain product consistency and comply with established specifications including color, moisture, pH, weight, size, etc.
• Hold team members accountable to FSQA standards and procedures.
• Evaluate all finished product for compliance
• Perform and document all testing with precision and accuracy
• Identify, investigate, and communicate out-of-compliance situations and product standards to leadership team and the FSQA Manager
