Looking for a Leadership position in Food Service?

Do you have integrity, a positive can-do attitude, a strong character and able to work in a structured environment ?

Tigg's Canteen Services is looking to hire a Full-Time Permanent Lead Cook for Ottawa County Jail in West Olive MI.

We offer a competitive wage and benefit package including :

  • Pay starting at $22.00 an hour for this location.

  • Paid Time Off

Qualifications include :

  • Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment.
  • Ability to read and follow company recipes.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.

    • Requirements include :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday .
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (10am-6pm)
  • Clearance approval into the facility

    • Previous food service or kitchen experience would be a plus, but we can train the right person!
