Seasonal Full-Time Registered Nurse - Acute Telemetry

Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and competent Registered Nurse to join our team in Acute Telemetry. In this role, you will provide both routine and complex care to patients, utilizing your skills to manage clinical situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver nursing care following the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols while monitoring their effectiveness and side effects.
• Document patient history, symptoms, and care provided accurately.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and caregivers as necessary.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to manage the clinical environment effectively.

Qualifications :

Position Requirements : Newly hired RNs are required to attend orientation within the first 30 days of hire and will be precepted by a designated trained staff member. Compliance with annual competency verification is mandatory. Grace periods for obtaining necessary certifications apply based on experience.
