About the role

Looking for an exciting opportunity to work in luxury hospitality this summer, gaining hands-on Food and Beverage experience in a vibrant poolside environment? Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Seasonal Pool Server to join our dynamic pool team, where thoughtful service, attention to detail, and genuine guest care define the experience. In this role, you will deliver attentive, knowledgeable, and polished food and beverage service while creating relaxed yet refined poolside moments for our guests.

What you will do

• Describe and present food and beverage menu items to guests with engaging detail, including origin, taste, and preparation methods, while accurately taking and communicating orders through the hotel’s point-of-sale system.

• Coordinate food and beverage timing, verify completed orders against guest requests, and deliver items promptly to ensure quality and presentation standards are met.

• Anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests or concerns.

• Properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and handle voided or complimentary checks in accordance with established procedures.

• Assist with the breakdown, cleaning, and setup of tables, buffets, and food stations to maintain a polished and inviting poolside environment.

What you bring

• 2+ year(s) previous serving experience in a luxury Food and Beverage outlet.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• A positive, professional, and guest-focused attitude with strong attention to detail and service excellence.

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

• The ability to multi-task while under pressure.

• The ability to carry and balance a tray with multiple items.

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Schedule & Hours:

• This posting is for candidates available to start in March for the summer season.

• Candidates who are available for start dates in April or May are encouraged to watch for upcoming postings.

• While this is a seasonal role with a defined end date, there may be opportunities for long-term employment based on business needs and performance.

• Open availability is preferred & weekend availability is required.

• Must be available to work holidays.

• Part time position, 3-4 days a week.
