Construction Manager Trainee (CMT) Summary:

The Construction Manager Trainee assists in the supervision, coordination, & management of all assigned residential construction.

• Your Responsibilities on the Team Assisting in preparing & maintaining job schedules. Inspecting & enforcing job safety requirements. Completing ‘punch lists’ & assisting in completion of new home orientation lists. Attending construction meetings & training classes as scheduled. Ensuring job site cleanliness & assisting in completion of model/inventory maintenance. Assisting in areas of service-related issues. Daily interaction with various division personnel, subcontractors, business partners, & homeowners.

Construction Manager Trainee (CMT) Qualifications:

• Must have High School Diploma or GED/ College degree preferred
• Must possess organization skills (keeping current daily schedules, maintaining timely & accurate flow of paperwork)
• Must possess excellent time management & interpersonal skills
• Must be proficient with new technology such as iPads (including experience w/ programs like MS Office, BuildPro, etc.)
• Must have valid Driver’s License & auto insurance w/ good driving record
• Prior experience/knowledge of construction & building code practices & procedures a plus!
• Ability to read/ interpret blueprints a plus!
