We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team at our Cahokia, United States location (1302 Camp Jackson Rd). As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting our team members.
- Oversee and manage daily store operations during assigned shifts
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive work environment
- Interact professionally with customers and employees, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Handle cash management and financial transactions accurately
- Answer phone calls and take customer orders efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with inventory management and stock control
- Implement and uphold company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve store goals and objectives
- Resolve customer complaints and address employee concerns promptly
- Participate in employee training and development initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned by upper management
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail or food service management, preferably in an assistant manager roleStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanorProficiency in math and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiencyProficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applicationsFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsHigh school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business or related field preferredPositive attitude and ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
