- Compliance to the Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, Safety Practices, and Management Operating System documents related to job duties.
- Comply with company rules and practices in compliance with the Employee Handbook.
- Comply with 5S housekeeping practices and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Support and participate in Lean Enterprise / Manufacturing initiatives throughout the organization.
- Support company departmental company and objectives.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding requirements for cost targets.
- Responsible for promoting and demonstrating a team philosophy in accomplishing the division’s goals and objectives
- Be instrumental in achieving divisional safety goals by working in a safe manner and reporting hazardous conditions to management through the proper channels.
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Purchase order entry into SAP and communication with suppliers – Requires a great attention to detail
- Match all incoming receipts to purchase orders and process into SAP
- Review all incoming invoices, match invoices to receipts, process invoices into SAP and attach all documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including, but not limited to : Delivered material not matching PO, invoices don’t match receipted qty or price, PO’s are not filled and / or invoiced in a timely manner.
- Data entry of production details including production qty, scrap and downtime (multiple excel files)
- Monthly and quarterly updates to customer pricing in SAP, excel and on customer portals
- Track open and filled job positions within the plant
- Monitor on-line job postings, review all submitted resumes, contact approved candidates and schedule interviews with management.
- Complete on-boarding process including employee paperwork, initial safety training and introductions to plant personnel
- Maintain the Operator Training Matrix and the Plant Skills Matrix ensuring all “on the floor” training process and required documentation is completed.
- Complete, record, and track all OSHA required associate safety training.
- Manage time clock system : add new employee, record termination, assign timecards, review weekly time punch records and prepare and send records to various staffing agencies and Corporate Human Resources for payroll processing.
- Track vacation time and attendance point system for all employees. Issue employee warning related to attendance and other relevant violations for Plant Management.
- Daily attendance emails notifying management of personnel shortages each morning.
- Assist management to establish weekly overtime schedules.
- Facility communications with all employees.
- Basic data entry tasks.
- Perform other duties as required.
PREREQUISITE
High School diploma / GED or prior work experience
Highly proficient in MS Office applications especially Excel
Knowledge of general accounting procedures, especially accounts payable
60 wpm typing skill
Excellent communication & organizational skills
5 Years previous office experience
Previous experience working with SAP is helpful.
