Description :
Under the general supervision of the Quality Control Supervisor the Quality & Customer Service Technician will be providing support to the Quality Assurance Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Confirming the QA Management System is implemented and followed.
- Maintaining compliance with ISO / IEC 17025, ELAP, GLP, USDA and any customer specific requirements.
- Assist Quality Control Supervisor / Quality Assurance Manager in supervising the quality sections of all Safe Food Alliance laboratories.
- Communicates with the Quality Control Supervisor / Quality Assurance Manager concerning any safety, quality, or technical problems.
- Data entry, data archivist of documents generated.
- Review paperwork on in-bound samples and report generation.
- Assist in Standard Operating Procedure development / maintenance.
- Track employee training.
- Maintain environmental program at all laboratories.
- Assist with phones, doors and customers at the Kingsburg Center.
- Employee has the responsibility for maintaining good safety and housekeeping practices throughout assigned area of responsibility.
- Assists with internal and external audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate Degree (AA or AS) with science background or equivalent preferred.One to two years of related experience and / or training.ISO 17025 experience preferred.Availability start time 8 : 30 or 10am, needs to have flexibility in schedule due to department needs.Available to work weekends if neededDFA of California complies with the CA Fair Employment and Housing Act and the ADA and will consider reasonable accommodation measures for eligible applicants / employees to perform the essential functions of the job.
