Job : Senior Electrical Engineer PE

Description :

FourFront Design, Inc. has an opening for a senior level, licensed Electrical Engineer. Responsible for the design of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic buildings, from project initiation through completion. The senior electrical engineer also serves as a mentor and technical expert to less experienced engineers and can complete complex electrical design solutions. Applies expert knowledge of municipal codes and engineering standards and evaluates designs to assure they meet project specifications and client expectations. Gives guidance to project team when Lead Electrical Engineer is unavailable. Understands contractual aspects of the client / designer relationship and assures obligations are met. Must be willing to affix professional engineering seal to plans and specifications created under own creation or directly supervised assistant. Completes final checks for accuracy of plans and specifications submitted to client. Through the construction phase of a project, monitors activities to ensure that construction conforms to functional specifications and customer requirements. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Pay wages :

$110,000 - $125,000 annual (depending on experience and qualifications)

Benefits :

Shift :

40 hours per week. Standard workdays and hours of FourFront Design Inc are Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 5 PM and Friday 8 AM to 12 PM. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Flexibility in schedule is considered if job duties are satisfactorily met.

Experience Required :

• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 10 years previous electrical design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifying experience.
• Willingness to apply for additional state or professional license when required.
• Knowledge of LEED principles; encouraged to become LEED accredited.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD required; Visual-3D helpful.
• Preferred RCDD certification but not required.
• Preferred government and Veteran Affairs (VA) experience but not required.
