Description :

The EEG Technician will perform routine EEGs in accordance with established ASET guidelines.

This role involves working with patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

The technician enters raw data and prepares data for physician review.

Measuring and applying electrodes for adult and pediatric patients is essential.

Descriptive analysis of EEG waveforms and patterns observed will be conducted.

The technician will interact appropriately with patients and families.

Editing of 24-hour data will be part of the responsibilities.

Maintaining equipment and stocking acquisition stations is required.

The technician will report malfunctions and record them in the equipment logbook.

Following existing hospital and department policies and procedures is mandatory.
