Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required

License : Must have active state license

Certifications : ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCES

Must-Have :

Hemodynamic monitoring experience

Inpatient and outpatient experience

Pacemaker experience

Vital signs management

Dysrhythmia interpretation

STEMI management

IV insertion

Phlebotomy skills

Experience with Rotablader and EP ablations

Pacemaker implants

Coil embolization

Description :

The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for performing specialized procedures in the cath lab.

Candidates must have experience in hemodynamic monitoring.

They should be skilled in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Pacemaker insertion and management is required.

Candidates must be proficient in obtaining vital signs.

Interpretation of dysrhythmias is a critical skill for this role.

Experience managing STEMI cases is necessary.

IV insertion and phlebotomy skills are essential.

Experience with Rotablader, EP ablations, pacemaker implants, and coil embolization is required.

Floating to interventional radiology may occur if the cath lab case load is low.

Call requirements include one night per week and every fourth weekend.

Holidays may require additional availability as needed.

Candidates should have experience with a variety of cardiac procedures.

Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary support services are necessary.

A strong understanding of sterile technique and safety protocols is essential.

Additional skills in electrophysiology and endovascular interventions are preferred.

This position requires accuracy in monitoring and documentation for patient safety.
