Opto-Mechanical Engineer

A company is looking for an Opto-Mechanical Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CAD design and drafting of small form-factor consumer electronic devices

Conduct thermal analysis and tolerance analysis of assemblies

Lead Mechanical Engineering activities within a cross-functional hardware team and coordinate prototyping efforts

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience

Minimum of five years of experience in mechanical design for consumer electronics, optics, or mechatronics

Demonstrated knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and 3D noncontact measurement methodologies

Strong proficiency in statistical process control and high-volume manufacturing methods

Experience with 3D design modeling and physical prototyping
