TEACHER : Early Childhood Faculty (Head & Assistant Teacher Roles)

The North Shore Hebrew Academy (NSHA) is a co-educational Preschool-Grade 12 Modern Orthodox Yeshiva that inspires students to become passionate learners, critical thinkers, problem solvers and dedicated community members.

We are seeking a caring, experienced and dynamic teacher to join our Early Childhood Studies team.  An ideal candidate will have experience teaching in an early childhood classroom and fostering a love of learning about the world around them. Teachers are responsible for planning and executing a variety of different kinds of lessons, helping students to develop social and emotional competencies, communicating with parents, and collaborating with their colleagues.

An ideal candidate will possess a love of teaching children, excitement for trying new curricula and methodologies, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications :

BA required

MA in early childhood preferred (Head teachers)

A minimum of three years teaching in an early childhood setting (Head teachers)

A teaching philosophy that focuses on growth in academic, social and emotional domains

A collaborative, teamwork-oriented approach

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range : $30,000-55,000
