Certified Coding Specialist

A company is looking for an Outpatient Same Day Surgery Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for various specialties

Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes and interpret coding guidelines

Maintain compliance with ethical standards and participate in training and education

Required Qualifications

Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)

At least 6 months of on-the-job coding experience

Proficient in Microsoft programs like Excel and Outlook

Must have a reliable internet connection and current coding materials

Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
