Ticket Seller
Performing ticketing operations and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patrons. Essential duties and responsibilities include performing proper selling procedures and providing high quality customer service during ticketed events, achieving customer satisfaction. The role also involves opening and closing the ticket window as required, accurately dispensing tickets as requested by patrons, and accepting credit card payments. Efficiently and courteously answering questions concerning prices, seating, and events is also part of the job. The position requires working every Thursday for Thursday Night at the Fights, from 6pm to 10pm.
Qualifications include being at least 18 years of age, having the ability to take directions and effectively perform the work, sufficient math ability to accurately count, and a basic working knowledge of point of sale systems. Fluency in English is necessary for conversing with customers, supervisors, and employees. A pleasant personality, neat appearance, and the ability to stand or walk for the duration of the shift are also required. The ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds is essential.
Compensation is competitive. The job is located on site at the Egan Convention Center. The physical demands include moving around the facility, standing for long hours during events, talking and hearing, stooping, and lifting.
