About Arsenal Performance
Arsenal Performance is an independent strength and conditioning gym established in 2014 built on coaching quality, consistency, and community. We run structured group training using a tiered system so athletes of different levels can train together without losing the point of the workout. We care about people, preparation, and progress — and we plan to be here for a long time.
The Role
We’re looking for a part-time or hourly group fitness coach who enjoys coaching real humans, not just counting reps. You’ll be running classes, teaching movement, managing the room, and helping people leave feeling better than when they walked in.
This role is ideal for a coach who values consistency, professionalism, and clear expectations. We’re especially interested in coaches who are comfortable taking ownership of early morning or midday classes and operating with minimal oversight.
We’re hiring for part-time / hourly coaches with availability in one or more of the following:
- Early mornings (5:00am–8:00am)
- Midday (11am-1pm)
- Weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday mornings)
You don’t need to cover everything — but consistent, dependable availability in at least one of these windows is required. This role is built around coaches we can count on week after week.
What You’ll Do
- Coach group classes using Arsenal Performance programming and standards
- Teach movements clearly, cue effectively, and keep athletes safe
- Manage class flow, timing, and transitions (no chaos, no confusion)
- Get to know members and help create a welcoming training environment
- Keep the gym clean, organized, and ready for the next class
- Communicate with the coaching team and ask questions when needed
Tech & Systems (Don’t Worry — It’s Simple)
We run a fully digital gym, and coaches are expected to be comfortable with basic tech.
You’ll use our gym CRM to:
- Check athletes into class
- Confirm waivers and memberships
- View class rosters and notes
- Support a smooth, paperless onboarding experience
You do not need to be “techy” — just willing to learn and follow systems. We’ll train you on everything you need.
Certifications: Must hold at least 1 Primary Certification (preferred):
- CrossFit Level 1, higher or comparable GPP Certification NASM, ACE, ACSM, or similar
- CPR / AED / First Aid (must have or willing to obtain)
This Role Is NOT
- A “press play and hype people up” job
- A place to freestyle workouts or wing it
- A short stop before your real job
- A gym where standards don’t matter
We like fun. We also like doing things well.
Compensation & Growth
- $25–35/hour for group coaching (based on experience)
- High personal training revenue share (up to 80–100%, depending on role and tenure)
- 10–20 coaching hours per week available
- Free unlimited membership
- 401(k) option with up to a 4% employer match
