Transportation Coordinator

Pay Rate : $20-$25 / hour

Hours : Monday - Friday 6am - 2 : 30pm

General Summary : Coordinates outbound shipments to support transportation operations. Ensures timely, accurate communication and coordination across stores, distribution centers, carriers, and internal teams to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate outbound and backhaul freight assignments to maximize truck utilization and reduce costs.
• Monitor carrier performance and ensure compliance with delivery protocols.
• Perform accurate data entry across transportation systems and ensure accuracy of carrier invoicing within those systems.
• Conduct tracking and tracing of deliveries and equipment.
• Support claims processes and ensure proper documentation for credits.
• Analyze operational trends and implement process improvements.
• Follow safety procedures and promote a clean, organized work environment.
• Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Physical & Working Conditions :

Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting, walking, standing, climbing, stooping, and kneeling. Primarily office-based in a climate-controlled environment, with occasional exposure to warehouse conditions and regulated materials.

Availability :

Must be willing to work shift hours, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
