Job Title : Environmental Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team within a large nationwide environmental company as an Environmental Technician. You will play a crucial role in managing and transporting waste materials, ensuring proper handling and sorting of hazardous and non-hazardous substances. This position offers the opportunity to grow your skills and advance your career within a supportive and expanding team. This is a second shift role and will go from 12 pm to 8 : 30 pm Monday through Friday. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits!

Responsibilities

• Transport drums of waste and load them into hoppers.
• Identify and categorize drums based on their labels.
• Load and offload drums onto and from trucks.
• Separate hazardous waste from non-hazardous waste and place them in designated areas within the warehouse.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse by sweeping and organizing.

Work Environment

The work environment involves both indoor and outdoor settings in the environmental field. The shift is Monday through Friday, from 12 PM to 8 : 30 PM. The role is suitable for those who enjoy working in a diverse and dynamic setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Providence, RI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00 / hr.
