An established law firm is hiring a Legal Assistant in Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. This is a permanent position offered as a Direct Hire placement. Compensation is up to $60,000.00

ABOUT THE FIRM: Established insurance defense law firm serving their clients for over 20 years.The law firm is focused on all areas of insurance defense including (but not limited) trucking/automobile liability claims defense, general product liability defense, construction defect claims and liability defense, personal injury and wrongful death litigation defense, Product liability litigation defense, Motor vehicle accident liability claims defense, Commercial liability claims.
About the position: The legal assistant will support a small litigation team (attorneys & paralegals) in day to day case management. Duties will include scheduling; hearings, mediation and depositions. Calendaring deadlines, etc and keeping attorneys up to date on any changes to case. This position requires someone with exceptional communication skills that is naturally organized.

1+ year of scheduling litigation deadlines
2+ years of legal assistant experience
