Orthopedic Surgery Medical Director

A company is looking for a Clinical Review Physician specializing in Orthopedic Surgery for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct coverage reviews based on member plan benefits and render coverage determinations

Document clinical review findings and communicate with providers regarding benefit determinations

Engage in peer-to-peer discussions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality medical care

Required Qualifications :

M.D. or D.O. degree

Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery

Active unrestricted license to practice medicine

5+ years of clinical practice experience post-residency

Sound understanding of Evidence Based Medicine (EBM)
