A company is looking for a Researcher III to develop scientific weather satellite training materials for various audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct literature reviews, prepare reports, and disseminate information through various communication mediums
Develop and implement complex research projects, methodologies, and procedures
Assist in writing and submitting grant applications and proposals for research funding
Required Qualifications
Broad understanding of current weather satellite science for GEO and LEO applications
Experience managing large meteorological satellite science projects
Understanding of global weather model efforts such as NGGPS and UFS
Experience in training meteorologists on satellite information for weather decision support
Master's degree in a science field required
