Construction Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

Vertiv is seeking a highly experienced and driven Construction Supervisor to oversee the execution of large-scale data center construction projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the on-site construction process, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, budgets, and timelines. This position demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of mission-critical infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project Oversight : Manage all aspects of construction from site preparation through commissioning for large-scale data center projects.
• Vendor Management : Oversee general contractors, subcontractors, and third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and quality standards.
• Schedule and Budget Management : Monitor construction schedules and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders and taking corrective action as needed.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure all construction work complies with company standards, client requirements, and applicable codes and regulations.
• Risk Mitigation : Proactively identify and manage potential risks, safety issues, and design conflicts; implement mitigation strategies promptly.
• Client Interaction : Act as a point of contact for clients on construction-related matters, fostering a professional relationship through clear communication and problem-solving.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, punch lists, daily reports, and project closeout materials.
• Commissioning Support : Work with commissioning agents and Vertiv engineering teams to ensure systems are fully tested and operational before handover.

QUALIFICATIONS

PMP, CCM, or equivalent construction / project management certifications.
