Job Title : Survey Technician

Job Description

The role involves utilizing MicroStation and / or AutoCAD Civil 3D for various engineering designs, including topographic, boundary, ALTA / NSPS, and easement surveys. You will collaborate with survey crew members in the field and in the office to draft and manage survey data efficiently.

Responsibilities

Measuring land features, operating surveying equipment like GPS devices and total stations, and collecting data to create maps and plans for engineers and architects

Preparing field notes for analysis, plotting data, ensuring equipment accuracy, and working outdoors in various conditions as part of a survey crew to support construction and mapping projects.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Associate's Degree and 5+ years of experience, or a combination of education and experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in surveying, civil engineering, and land development.

Survey field experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00 / yr.
