Regional Sales Manager – Laboratory Diagnostics
Job Overview :
The Regional Sales Manager will oversee and develop a team of 6–8 Sales Executives while driving regional growth across key healthcare markets in the Southeast. This position is ideal for a leader with a strong background in diagnostics, lab services, or genetics who excels at coaching teams, building sales strategies, and leading from the front.
Responsibilities :
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 6–8 Sales Executives
- Drive regional sales performance across laboratory and diagnostic markets
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share
- Support Sales Executives with field coaching, pipeline development, and account strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with private practice clinics, rehab facilities, and primary care offices
- Ensure territory coverage across the Southeast region
- Collaborate with executive leadership to forecast, set goals, and drive revenue targets
- Represent the company at regional meetings, conferences, and client engagements
Compensation & Details :
Base Salary : $120,000 to $135,000Total Compensation at Plan : $205,000 to $225,000Compensation includes full benefits and stock optionsCar Allowance : $800 per monthGeography : AL, GA, NC, TN, SC, and North FloridaRole is field-based; no relocationMarket : Medical / SalesProducts : Lab DiagnosticsCall Points : General Practitioners and outpatient healthcare clinicsRequirements : Candidate Profile :
Must have experience in Diagnostics, Lab, or GeneticsCurrently or recently in a Sales Leadership role within the Laboratory Diagnostics industryStrong ability to mentor, coach, and lead teamsSuccessful background selling into private practice clinics and healthcare providersHeavy hospital-focused medical device sales managers will not be consideredBachelor’s degree requiredAbility to travel up to 60% across the Southeast
