Registered Nurse (RN)

Summary: The RN develops an overall view of patients, families, and caregivers, establishing strong partnerships to deliver optimal care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support and promote the mission and values of the health ministry.
• Provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
• Complete unit-specific competencies and requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical documentation.
• Communicate patient information for safe care.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Address issues through the chain of command.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments.
• Assist with problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Delegate care and supervise other nursing personnel.
• Participate in peer review and survey readiness.
• Avoid unauthorized overtime and manage ETO per policy.

For Cath and Angio Lab:

• 3 years’ critical care experience preferred.
• Assist with Flow wire, Opsens, and IVUS insertion.
• Administer procedural sedation and document accordingly.

For Emergency Department:

• Stay updated with nurse-sensitive indicators.
• Respond to emergencies like code blue and rapid response.
• Obtain TNCC and NIHSS certifications within specified timeframes.

Job Requirements:

• Basic Dysrhythmia and NHISS certification preferred.
• Current New Hampshire RN license, BLS, ACLS (except for specific units), and PALS (for Emergency Department).
• Graduate of an approved Nursing program preferred.
