Subtitle/Areas:

This is not a full-time position; hours vary based on need of student•s and the teacher•s certification areas. This position provides services to students who are hospital/homebound. Services are in-person or virtual, based on the IEP team•s determination.

Qualifications/Certifications:

EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIRED:

Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Sciences (BS)

PREFERRED/DESIRED:

• Teaching experience in more than one content area.

• Three (3) years successful teaching experience.

• Experience using multiple platforms for teaching, including virtual instruction.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING:

REQUIRED:

Certified by the state of Florida in the appropriate area

Valid Florida Driver License

PREFERRED:

Certified in multiple content areas, ideally to include Exceptional Student Education

Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills are critical to being successful in this role. The ideal candidate is self-directed, can teach students varying abilities, and grade levels.
