• Please note the highest starting rate as a new hire is $ 52.45 / hr based onapplicable experience POSITION SUMMARY : Under the general direction of the Manager Radiology and the immediatesupervision of the Lead Technologist performs imaging procedures at atechnical level not requiring direct supervision. The CT Technologist canperform all general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams. Assumesresponsibility for designated areas as assigned. The Technologist operates CTequipment prepares and administers contrast media performs Intravenouscontrast injections operates X-ray equipment prepares patients roomequipment supplies and medications. The CT Technologist is responsible forthe quality control and enforcement of Enloe Medical Centers Core Values ARRTStandards of Ethics and the policies and procedures of the designated CT Technologist supports and contributes to the service excellence missionof Enloe Medical Center and the Radiology Department. EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE : Desired : - Two years experience in diagnostic x-ray- One year experience in CT LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS : Minimum : - Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by theDepartment of Health Services State of California (CRT)- Approved CPR certification- ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire Desired : - Current Radiographic contrast media and venapuncture certification- Current license issued by ARRT- Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit issued by the State ofCalifornia- Advanced certification in CT SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES : Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of human structure and function crosssectional anatomy patient care positioning and principles of radiographicexposure quality assurance radiation physics radiation protectionradiobiology and specialized techniques as required for a radiologic and CTtechnologist.
