A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PETROLEUM SERVICE TECHNICIAN

As a Petroleum Service Technician you juggle many tasks in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment. With a sense of urgency you communicate in person and over the phone with our clients. You respond to a variety of service calls including emergency response and after hour on-call. Happily you repair and maintain dispensers turbines UST tank top equipment UST monitoring equipment and dispenser calibration. You also track inventory on the company vehicle to ensure that you have all the equipment you need to help our clients. Your persistence in following up ensures that our clients are taken care of.

To stay at the top of your game you keep up to date on new equipment launches and industry compliance. Additionally you participate in ongoing training. Your ability to successfully manage client expectations through correct judgments sound decisions and your technical knowledge is critical to your success.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PETROLEUM SERVICE TECHNICIAN

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience in Mechanical Electrical or Computer operations
• Knowledge of petroleum dispensers and related equipment a plus (Wayne VeriFone Gilbarco)
• Valid drivers license and clean driving history

WORK SCHEDULE

Our Petroleum Technicians typically work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. There is also a required rotating on-call schedule (1 week of on-call every 5 weeks).
