Position Information
Are you a licensed clinical mental health professional looking to make a positive impact within your community? New Hanover County is seeking to hire a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join the team in the Health and Human Services Agency as a school mental health therapist. This position is assigned to New Hanover County schools to provide therapeutic services to students where duties include completing comprehensive clinical evaluations; developing/monitoring individual treatment plans; conducting initial intake assessments; identifying the needs of clients and linking them to the necessary resources; providing individual, group, and family therapy; documenting services and submitting billing information for reimbursement; and writing reports.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field, and experience and education sufficient to obtain one of the required licenses.
Licenses/Certifications
Valid NC Drivers License and good driving record and one of the following:
