[job_card.job_description]7+ years of experience in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot development Strong understanding of OOP principles, collections, and multithreading Hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS / ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, SQS, EC2, IAM Experience with Kafka for event-driven architecture and real-time data processing Familiarity with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases; familiarity with CockroachDB is a plus Solid understanding of testing frameworks and CI / CD pipelines Exposure to front-end frameworks and UI development is a plus Hourly rate : $-hr Comprehensive benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, k, PTO, holidays, and sick leave as required by law.
Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer who will be responsible for reducing mainframe dependency and building cloud-native solutions. The Full stack engineer will be hybrid in Merrimack, NH.
Responsibilities for the Senior Full Stack Java Developer include :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Build and test end-to-end data pipelines and APIs to bridge mainframe systems with AWS cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and peer developers to deliver technical improvements and platform enhancements
- Participate in code reviews, CI / CD pipeline development, and testing automation
- Use observability tools to monitor and troubleshoot production systems
